Education, Training and Development at Nerams

The Education, Training and Development department of Nerams comprises of Instructors, Mentors, Assessors and Quality Assurers that are all highly qualified and experienced both in their education and operational roles. Operational instructors ensure up-to-date, real world, practical knowledge is passed on to students, enriching their learning throughout any of the qualifications we deliver. The department itself works with numerous awarding organisations to have the ability to offer over 400 recognised and regulated qualifications in a range of sectors and specialism.

Internally, the Education department ensures compliance and staff training is maintained, as well as giving staff opportunities and tailored plans to continuously develop and progress in their careers. Externally, Nerams  offers its training to individuals and organisations to allow them to meet legislative needs, find new employment, retrain and upskill. We can assess your training needs and deliver qualifications you desire to make sure you or your staff are motivated, productive, knowledgeable and feel invested in.

We are committed to strengthening ties to the community and creating partnerships with other educational institutions. Through re-employment schemes and apprenticeship delivery, we help those in the community get back into work and take their first steps into the ambulance industry. We work in partnership with other institutions, such as Sunderland College, Bishop Auckland College and Sunderland University to provide an enriched learning experience for both their students and ours.

Whether for our own staff, other organisations employees or for individuals, we see training as an investment, not an expense, because an investment in the right training will give you the greatest returns.
