AMBULANCE CARE ASSISTANT 

 
The role of the ambulance care assistant involves conveying a wide range of patients to and from their homes to out-patients’ appointments, clinics, physiotherapy or non-urgent inter-hospital transfers. Crews are trained as ambulance care assistants with specialist knowledge of comprehensive first aid, driving skills and patient moving and handling techniques.
 
Desirable Qualifications Include:
  • An in date First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification
  • An in date FREC 3 or higher qualification

Don’t worry if you don’t hold the above as full training is provided during your induction!

Essential Criteria:

  • A full UK driving license which has been held for a minimum of 1 year.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your license
  • Applicants must be 21yrs of age or older for insurance purposes.

Emergency Care Assistant

We are looking for: Emergency Care Assistants, Apprentice ECA’s to assist in the delivery of high quality and effective pre-hospital emergency care on our Front-Line contract, in the North East of England.  Immediate starts are available (once compliance checks are complete), and we are offering full time, part time and adhoc basis 7 days per week, which will be an acumination of day, nights, and weekend shifts.  

Essential requirements 
- FREC 3.
– To be over the age of 21 with a minimum of 1 year’s drivers experience 
-No more than 6 Penalty Points on your driver’s licence 

– Blue Light Driver Qualification IHCD D1/D2 or alternatively level 3 CERAD 
– C1 driver’s license  

 

Desirable Requirements 
– Frec 4
– Level 3 SALM|
– Diploma in Ambulance Emergency and Urgent Care

Please note anyone applying for an Apprentice Role will be given full training for the role that is listed in the essential or desirable requirements.
Please also note any applicant without blue lights or qualifications will be given the opportunity for training courses, however will be tied into a training contract.

NQP Paramedic/Ambulance Paramedic 

 

We are looking for: HCPC registered Paramedics, NQP Paramedics and Student Paramedics who have just finished their degree to assist in the delivery of high quality and effective pre-hospital emergency care on Front-Line contracts, in the Northeast of England. Immediate starts are available (once compliance checks are complete), and we are offering full time, part time and ad Hoc basis 7 days per week, which will be an accumulation of day, nights, and weekend shifts.

Essential requirements
– IHCD, Diploma or Degree in Paramedicine
– applied for HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) or alternatively HCPC registered Paramedic.
– To be over the age of 21 with a minimum of 1 year’s drivers experience
-No more than 6 Penalty Points on your driver’s licence

Desirable Requirements
– Blue Driver Qualification IHCD D1/D2 or alternatively level 3 CERAD
– C1 driver’s license

Emergency Medical Technician/Advanced Technician 

We are looking for: Emergency Medical Technicians, Apprentice EMT’s, Advanced Technicians or trainee AT’s to assist in the delivery of high quality and effective pre-hospital emergency care on our Front-Line contract, in the North East of England.  Immediate starts are available (once compliance checks are complete), and we are offering full time, part time and adhoc basis 7 days per week, which will be an acumination of day, nights and weekend shifts.  

Essential requirements 
- To FREC 4 with SALM with in date ILS certificate alternatively, Diploma in Ambulance Emergency and Urgent Care support.
– To be over the age of 21 with a minimum of 1 years drivers experience 
-No more than 6 Penalty Points on your driver’s licence  

Desirable Requirements 
– Blue Driver Qualification IHCD D1/D2 or alternatively level 3 CERAD 
– C1 driver’s license  
– FRECU 5 (EMT)
– Level 4 AAP
